Auto-Attendant / IVR for Hosted PBX

Auto-Attendants or Interactive Voice Recordings (IVR) allow callers to choose their destinations based on options presented to them through voice recordings. This is an efficient way to direct calls to their destination and it relieves a human from having to answer each and every call and manually direct the call to a destination. The recording that is played to the caller presents options, each of which directs the user to press a digit on their phone.

This is a free feature of Monmouth Telecom's Hosted PBX Service. Monmouth Telecom's Auto-Attendant Feature is flexible in the following ways:

  • Unlimited Menus

    We do not charge any additional cost for extra Auto-Attendant Menus. For example if you wanted to have every one of your telephone numbers go to a distinct Auto-Attendant Menu that would be allowed at no additional charge.

  • Unlimited Depth

    There is no limit to the number of "sub-menus" you are allowed to create. This allows you to customize your Auto-Attendant Menu to best suit your customers' needs.

  • Unlimited Recordings

    You can make additional recordings in a number of ways. You can record them using any phone attached to your Hosted PBX. You can use the microphone on your computer and then upload them into the web interface. You can also have your menu recordings prepared by professionals and then upload them into the web interface.

  • Customizable Destinations

    When a caller dials an option they will be sent to a destination. This destination is very flexible and could be a Call Queue, a Hunt List, or any number of customizable phone system functions.
