Monmouth Telecom has introduced Instant Messaging as a feature available with the Hosted PBX Platform. Easily accessible from the Hosted PBX Portal in a web browser, Instant Messenger allows coworkers to securely chat without needing to pick up their phone or get information while already on a call. Instant Messenger is customizeable through group chat settings and a permission system all maintained by the Administrator of the portal.
An added bonus is that the Monmouth Telecom Hosted PBX App now has access to the Instant Messenger feature as well allowing users to have text conversations while on the go. The conversations sync between App and Browser to maintain a steady stream of conversation across platforms so a message is never missed. Using the instant messenger feature in the mobile is great way to separate work communication from personal communication.
